PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical drug effective for preventing and/or treating peripheral neuropathic pain such as allodynia caused by therapy by an anti-cancer agent.SOLUTION: A medical drug containing thrombomodulin as an active ingredient is for preventing and/or treating peripheral neuropathic pain caused by an anti-cancer agent such as a taxane pharmaceutical preparation, a platinum pharmaceutical preparation, a vinca alkaloid based medicine, and bortezomib. It is preferable that the medical drug be intravenously administered or subcutaneously administered in combination with the anti-cancer agent.
