According to an aspect of the present invention, an X-ray imaging instrument capable of preventing inconvenience of having to move an X-ray tube and an X-ray detector at firsthand and reducing the time for X-ray radiography and the amount of exposure of a patient to radiation, by recognizing a marker placed on a target area for X-ray radiography in an image of a target object photographed by a camera and moving the X-ray tube and the X-ray detector to a position corresponding to the recognized marker and a control method thereof.
