Disclosed is a sterilization state display tape that can be recycled. A sterilization state indicating tape printed with a sterilization state indicating ink is provided which includes a breathable and liquid impermeable film. This tape can be shared with the wrap polymer for reuse. This tape is used to keep the wrapped package closed for sterilization and storage. When sterilized, the color of the ink changes to indicate to the user that the package has been sterilized. The tape is desirably made from a polymer that is the same or similar to the polymer of the wrap and is recyclable with the wrap.
