PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teapot inside which a calibrated tea strainer is arranged, whereby: calibrations are prevented from being indicated incorrectly during a production of the teapot and everyone can infuse palatable tea easily according to various tea leaves.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a teapot 10 for extracting predetermined constituents in an extraction solvent from an object to be extracted, wherein the teapot includes: a teapot body 11 having an opening portion into which the object and the extraction solvent are put, the body being formed to have a hollow inside a feeding pipe portion 15 communicated with the teapot body 11 through a feeding opening portion formed in an inner wall of the teapot body 11, thereby feeding the extraction solvent obtained after extraction to an outside and a mesh-patterned filtering portion 13 fixed to the inner wall of the teapot body 11 in the feeding opening portion, and separating between the teapot body 11 and the feeding pipe portion 15.
