PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide boom capable of preventing the deflection of a boom pipe while the slide boom is reduced.SOLUTION: A slide boom 4 mounted on a vehicle capable of traveling includes a first boom pipe 20 a second boom pipe 30 slidably provided at the first boom pipe 20 a base end side support part and a distal end side support part 22 for supporting the base end side and the distal end side of the second boom pipe 30 to the first boom pipe 20, respectively and a boom pipe deflection preventing device 60 provided at one of the second or first boom pipe 30 and 20 in a region between the base end side support part and the distal end side support part 22.
