The present invention relates to a cell penetrating peptide (CPP) and its use. More specifically, the amino acid sequence of a novel cell penetrating peptide discovered through a homology study is an amino acid having positive charge or hydrophobicity. It relates to a cell-permeable peptide having lower cytotoxicity and improved cell membrane permeability by substituting with and use thereof. The present inventors discovered new cell-permeable peptides through homology studies and found out that cell-permeable peptides, which have excellent cell permeability but have been restricted due to cytotoxicity, can be newly designed and used for the purpose of human application. Therefore, it was confirmed that the cell-permeable peptide was modified to have a degree of cell membrane permeability and cytotoxicity applicable to a living body.As a result, a target substance can be bound to the peptide and delivered to a living tissue or blood, thereby improving a specific disease or It is expected to be usefully used for therapeutic purposes.본 발명은 세포 투과성 펩타이드(Cell penetrating peptide, CPP) 및 이의 용도 관한 것으로서, 보다 구체적으로, 상동성 연구(Homology study)를 통해 발견한 신규 세포 투과성 펩타이드의 서열의 아미노산을 양성 전하 또는 소수성을 갖는 아미노산으로 치환하여 세포독성을 낮추고 세포막 투과율을 향상시킨 세포 투과성 펩타이드 및 이의 용도에 관한 것이다.본 발명자들은 상동성 연구(Homology study)를 통해 새로운 세포 투과성 펩타이드를 발견하고 뛰어난 세포 투과율을 가지나 세포독성 때문에 사용이 제한되어 왔던 세포 투과성 펩타이드를 인체 적용의 목적에 맞게 새롭게 디자인하여 사용할 수 있음을 규명하였으며 이에, 상기 세포 투과성 펩타이드를 변형하여 생체에 적용 가능한 정도의 세포막 투과성과 세포독성을 가진 펩타이드임을 확인하였는바, 타겟 물질을 상기 펩타이드에 결합하여 생체 조직 또는 혈중에 전달할 수 있어 특정 질환의 개선 또는 치료 용도로 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
