The invention relates to a container for the growth of beneficial insects, of the type that is intended to be hung from trees and similar and that has a blister-type basic configuration. The container includes a front capsule which, together with the rear wall of the container, forms an enclosure for the insects. According to the invention, both the front wall of the container, which defines the capsule, and the rear wall, are made from a biodegradable, water-soluble and non-toxic plastic material. The container also includes attachment means for hanging same from a tree or similar, and is provided with a small window that can be used to view the interior and that limits the greenhouse effect.
