To provide a novel method relating storage of tuber of foods, especially storage of tuber of potato.SOLUTION: Tuber, especially bud of potato can be removed by spraying high concentration limonene composition. Preferably there is provided a limonene emulsion composition containing a surfactant, and treatment by spraying the same of 60 ml to 400 ml per 1 ton of the tuber is conducted. Since natural articles are used, it can be used for tuber delivered to vegetable/fruit market where practically insecticidal residue is not accepted.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】食品の塊茎の保存、特にジャガイモ（ｐｏｔａｔｏ）の塊茎の保存に関する新しい方法の提供。【解決手段】高濃度のリモネン組成物の噴霧により、塊茎、特にジャガイモの芽を除去することができる。好ましくは、界面活性剤を含有する、リモネン乳剤組成物であり、塊茎１トン当たり６０ｍｌ～４００ｍｌを噴霧による処理を行う。天然物を利用するため、実用的に殺虫性残渣が許容されない青果物市場へと出荷される塊茎に使用することができる。【選択図】なし
