PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which enables a preset image to be easily recognized on an image obtained at the current point in time.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus produces first volume data and second volume data on the basis of the result of scanning a subject body by means of x-rays at differing timings. The X-ray CT apparatus has a setting unit, a storage unit and a display control unit. The setting unit sets a predetermined set image with respect to an image that is on the basis of the first volume data. The recording unit records the set image and the set position of the set image.
