PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end effector assembly for use with an electrosurgical instrument.SOLUTION: The end effector assembly for use with the electrosurgical instrument is provided. The end effector assembly has a first jaw member having a first pair of tissue contacting surfaces and an insulator disposed therebetween. The end effector assembly also has a second jaw member that includes a second pair of tissue contacting surfaces, a pair of insulators disposed between the second pair of tissue contacting surfaces, and a cutting element disposed between the pair of insulators.
