Disclosed are a crop traceability system and a method thereof, applied toautomatically produce a multimedia resume of a crop planted at a specificgeographic location. The system comprises a task generating module, a taskprocessing module and a resume producing module. The task list generated bythe task generating module comprises tasks for producing the crop, and eachitemhas a specific position information corresponding to a specific location. Anelectric device is equipped with a task executing module and a multimediagenerating module and thus generates a multimedia data saving a locationinformation of the electric device and a real image information. The resumeproducing module compares the specific position information corresponding totheitem with the location information of the electric device, so as to generate aresultdetermining whether to use the real image information as a part of themultimediaresume of the crop.
