The invention is a high-protein peptide complex separated from mammalian sulphur for use in particular in the prevention and treatment of disorders associated with an increase in the level of neurotropic factor of brain origin. The high proline peptide complex can be used as an additive in foods for adults, children and infants as a stimulant for the development and maintenance of the nervous and immune system function. The complex is applicable, inter alia, to the supplementation of modified milk and infant formulae.with characteristics similar to the natural milk of the mother.Przedmiotem wynalazku jest wysokoprolinowy kompleks peptydowy wyodrębniany z siary ssaków do zastosowań w szczególności w profilaktyce i wspomaganiu leczenia zaburzeń odpowiadających na zwiększanie poziomu neurotropowego czynnika pochodzenia mózgowego. Wysokoprolinowy kompleks peptydowy może być stosowany jako dodatek do żywności dla dorosłych, dzieci i niemowląt jako środek stymulujący rozwój i zachowanie funkcji układu nerwowego i odpornościowego. Kompleks ma między innymi zastosowanie w suplementacji mleka modyfikowanego i odżywek dla niemowląt.
