PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive long-term sustained release medicine epidural placement system with a simple configuration, which prevents fall of ADL and a risk of infection to be caused by frequent epidural puncture or catheter placement and is minimally invasive and excellent in biocompatibility and safety.SOLUTION: This long-term sustained release medicine epidural placement system 1 for placing a long-term sustained release medicine 40 in an epidural cavity 33 in epidural anesthesia or epidural block includes: at least string-like catheter type placement members 20 and 20A-20C which are formed of a medically compatible biodegradable material and carry a long-term sustained release medicine inside releasably in a sustained manner and an injection means 10 which includes an epidural needle comprising a needle assembly having an inner needle 16 inserted in an outer needle 15, or a CV port.
