PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To address such difficulty that a conventional dental plaque detecting device cannot accurately detect presence/absence of a dental plaque attached to a tooth without being affected by a distance between a light source or a detector, and the tooth or the dental plaque.SOLUTION: The dental plaque detecting device according to the present invention for applying light to a specimen and detecting presence/absence of a dental plaque on the basis of a ratio of fluorescence intensity of fluorescent light beams with different wavelength bands generating from the specimen, includes: a detecting part for detecting intensities of the respective fluorescent light beams of different wavelength bands and a control part for calculating the ratio of fluorescence intensity from the intensities of the respective fluorescent light beams obtained by the detecting part and determining the presence/absence of the dental plaque from a temporal variation in the ratio of fluorescence intensity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の歯垢検出装置では、光源又は検出器とは歯又は歯垢との距離の影響を受けずに、歯に付着した歯垢の有無を正確に検出することが困難であった。【解決手段】本発明の歯垢検出装置は、光を試料に照射して、試料から発生する異なる波長帯の蛍光による蛍光強度比に基づいて歯垢の有無を検出する歯垢検出装置であって、異なる波長帯のそれぞれの蛍光の強度を検出する検出部と、検出部で得られたそれぞれの蛍光の強度から蛍光強度比を演算し、蛍光強度比の経時的な変化量から歯垢の有無を判定する制御部とを有することを特徴としている。【選択図】図1
