PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective method for controlling Bursaphelenchus xylophilus, carried out with an extremely little amount of a chemical in a short time by very simple injection operation.SOLUTION: The method for controlling the Bursaphelenchus xylophilus includes a step for injecting the chemical containing a nematicidally active compound into each of chemical-injecting holes in the number specified by a specific expression. The chemical-injecting holes are formed at the positions in a pine trunk part satisfying the conditions that (a) the chemical-injecting holes are present within 0-2 m range in height from the ground, and (b) the interval of the highest chemical-injecting hole and the lowest chemical-injecting hole in the trunk axis direction is within the range of 50 cm, so that the interval of the neighboring two chemical-injecting holes projected on the trunk cross section orthogonal to the trunk axis may be <20 cm on the perimeter in the trunk cross section, and the neighboring hole may be formed in the aslant lower direction within the range of 10-60° from the horizontal direction.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【課題】薬液の量が極めて少なく、且つ、注入作業が極めて簡便で短時間に実施できるマツザイセンチュウ病の効率的な防除方法を提供すること。【解決手段】特定の式により特定される数の薬液注入孔の各々に、殺線虫活性化合物を含有する薬液を注入する工程を有するマツザイセンチュウ病の防除方法であり、当該薬液注入孔が、(a)薬液注入孔の地上高が0~2mの範囲、及び、(b)樹幹軸方向における最高位の薬液注入孔と最低位の薬液注入孔との間隔が50cm以内の範囲、を満たすようなマツ樹幹部での位置に、樹幹軸と直行する樹幹断面に投影された隣接する2つの薬液注入孔の当該樹幹断面における外周上での間隔が20cm未満となるように、水平方向に対して10~60度の範囲の斜め下方向に設けられてなる薬液注入孔であることを特徴とする方法等。【選択図】図1
