PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator controller of an electric vehicle capable of reliably preventing an electric vehicle from starting erroneously against a driver's intention.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle 10 drives an electric motor 20 by an accelerator operation, and drives the vehicle for travelling by the driving force of the electric motor 20. An accelerator controller of the electric vehicle includes a control part 50 that. upon detection of a stop state of the electric vehicle for a certain period, transitions a mode to a sleep mode for prohibiting travelling of the electric vehicle 10, and releases the sleep mode by a predetermined mode release operation during the sleep mode.
