The present invention discloses a system and method for managing fluid. The system includes a communication part which receives at least one fluid infusion value sensed using a structure for receiving the level of light emitted from a light emitting device a state information generation part which analyzes the sensed at least one fluid infusion value and generates state information including at least one of the infusion rate, an infusion time, the consumption amount, and the remaining amount of fluid and a control part which controls the infusion rate of the fluid based on the generated state information and controls the transmission of the generated state information.
