Walking aids are described which are of simple construction but which allow forboth resilience, i.e. the part of the walking aid which is gripped by the user andthe ground-engaging end (3) can be resiliency pressed together, as well as a degreeof angular flexibility so that the end (3) stays aligned with the ground even ifthe stick, crutch or the like (1) is angled relative thereto. This is achievedin particular by the use of a bellows structure (2) between the shaft (1) of a walkingaid and a ground-engaging foot (3).
