PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing net which can well keep a water-draining property and simultaneously reduce the entanglement (hooking) of a fishhook with a net.SOLUTION: The landing net has a net 2 knit of a wire 20. The net 2 is formed into an approximately bottomed cylindrical shape having an upper-side opening 4 and a closed bottom 6, and the opening area of the mesh formed by knitting the wire 30 on the opening 4 side is smaller than that on the bottom 6 side.
