The disclosed technology relates to a composition comprising: a cosmetically acceptable medium, an O-substituted ascorbic acid or derivative thereof and a compound having two or more hydroxyl groups, wherein the compound has a molar mass of at least 150 g/mol and increases transglutaminase K expression in epidermal keratinocytes. The disclosed technology further relates to the use and method of improving skin firmness, or reduced skin sagging with the composition.La technologie selon linvention concerne une composition comprenant: un support cosmétiquement acceptable, un acide ascorbique O-substitué ou un dérivé de celui-ci et un composé ayant deux groupes hydroxyle ou plus, le composé ayant une masse molaire dau moins 150 g/mol et augmentant lexpression de la transglutaminase K dans des kératinocytes épidermiques. La technologie selon linvention concerne également lutilisation de la composition et une méthode damélioration de la fermeté de la peau, ou de réduction de laffaissement cutané grâce à la composition.
