PURPOSE: An environment-friendly vegetation-type floating island is provided to offer the water quality improvement effect and the habitat environment improvement effect. CONSTITUTION: An environment-friendly vegetation-type floating island comprises the following: a wood frame(10) including plural wood horizontal bars(20), formed in a polygon shape； a natural fiber vegetation mat(30) for planting plants, formed in the inside of the wood frame； a coir rope hanged on the outside of the wood frame； a coir net(42) horizontally bound to the inside of the coir rope； and a weight material coupled with the end portion of the coir rope.본 발명은 저수지나 호소(湖沼) 및 인공습지 등에 설치하여 식생을 유도하고 오염물의 정화를 촉진하는 인공부도(人工浮島)에 관한 것으로, 천연 목재를 주제로 구조체를 제작하고, 코이어(coir) 등 천연 섬유제 식생매트를 상부에 설치하여 각종 수생 식물의 활착을 유도하며, 하부에는 코이어 네트(net)를 설치하여 수질 정화 미생물의 담체 및 수생 동물의 서식 및 산란처로서의 역할을 수행하도록 한 것이다.본 발명을 통하여 수생식물의 활착을 통한 수질개선 및 경관개선 효과를 얻을 수 있음은 물론, 본 발명 부도 하부의 코이어네트(coir net)를 통하여 수질개선 효과와 수생 동물의 서식환경 개선 효과를 동시에 얻을 수 있다.
