PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the production of a purified chlorogenic acid-containing pharmaceutical preparation useful in the production of chlorogenic acid-containing beverages which rarely become cloudy even in an acid region.SOLUTION: The process for the production of a purified chlorogenic acid-containing pharmaceutical preparation includes: the first step of dispersing or dissolving a starting chlorogenic acid-containing composition in a mixed solvent consisting of an organic solvent and water in the presence of acid clay or activated clay； the second step of removing a precipitate formed in the dispersion or solution obtained in the first step； the third step of adjusting the solution obtained in the second step to a chlorogenic acid concentration of 1.5 to 10 mass% and a pH of 2 to 4； and the fourth step of removing a precipitate formed in the adjusted solution obtained in the third step.【課題】酸性領域においても濁りの発生が抑制されたクロロゲン酸類含有飲料の製造に有用な精製クロロゲン酸類含有製剤の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】原料クロロゲン酸類含有組成物を、酸性白土又は活性白土の存在下に有機溶媒及び水の混合溶媒に分散又は溶解する第１の工程と、該第１の工程により得られた分散液又は溶解液中の析出物を除去する第２の工程と、該第２の工程により得られた溶液中のクロロゲン酸類の濃度を１．５～１０質量％、かつｐＨを２～４に調整する第３の工程と、該第３の工程により得られた濃度調整液中に発生した析出物を分離する第４の工程を含む、精製クロロゲン酸類含有製剤の製造方法。【選択図】なし
