A vessel for sampling blood comprising a solution containing a guanidine salt, a buffer, a reducing agent and/or a detergent, is newt. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for removing blood using the novel vessel； (2) a method for stabilizing the nucleic acids in blood comprising filling the blood in the novel vessel and optionally isolating the nucleic acid by known methods； (3) use of the solution of the novelty for the sampling of blood； and (4) a stabilized blood sample obtained by the method of (2).
