609718 A drug delivery device (1) comprises a first component (6) and a second component (9), the first component being movable with respect to the second component during a setting and a dispensing of a dose, wherein a substance e.g. grease, is provided on at least one of the first component and the second component. An inner friction or viscosity of the substance is great enough to stabilize at least one of the orientation and the position of the first component and the second component with respect to another. The inner friction or viscosity of the substance is small enough to allow relative movement of the first component and the second component necessary for the intended operation of the device. A method for assembling a drug delivery device is also provided.
