The present invention relates to the use of canthaxanthin and at least one vitamin D metabolite, preferably 25-hydroxy vitamin D3 (25-OH D3), for improving broiler performance. More particularly the invention relates to the use of canthaxanthin and 25- hydroxy vitamin D3 in the manufacture of a feed composition for improving weight gain and carcass ratio.Cette invention concerne lutilisation de la canthaxanthine et dau moins un métabolite de la vitamine D, de préférence la 25-hydroxy-vitamine D3 (25-OH D3), pour améliorer la performance des poulets. Plus particulièrement linvention concerne lutilisation de la canthaxanthine et de la 25-hydroxy-vitamine D3 dans la fabrication dune composition daliment pour animaux destinée à améliorer le rapport gain de poids à carcasse.
