The base (14) comprises a gingiva-mimicking support structure (16), which is at least partially made of a ceramic material and to which the at least one tooth-like structure is fixedly connected, and a contacting structure (28) arranged on a side (30) of the support structure (16) facing away from the at least one tooth-like structure (12) and having a contacting surface (36) designed to be in direct contact with a gingival area of contact (37) in a patient's oral cavity. According to the invention, the contacting structure (28) comprises or essentially consists of a polymeric material.
