Disclosed herein are systems and methods for identifying medical disorders in one or more subjects. In one embodiment, the sound is transmitted towards the object and at least a portion of the sound is reflected by the object and acquired as echo data. The acquired echo data is used to generate a motion waveform having a plurality of peaks detected therein. At least a portion of the plurality of peaks may indicate the subject's movement.
