PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drag device in which the drag force magnitude can be visible more easily in a fishing reel, while suppressing an increase of the number of parts.SOLUTION: A drag device in one embodiment includes: a friction material coming into contact with a transmission gear for transmitting the rotation in a spool a pressing member for pressing the friction material a biasing member for triggering a biasing force to the pressing member a nut (adjusting member) for adjusting the biasing force of the biasing member a handle provided outside the nut and an index member provided to the handle.
