PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately detect a predetermined region.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes a special light image acquisition part for acquiring a special light image having information in a specific wavelength band, a generation part for generation depth information at a predetermined position in a living body using the special light image, and a detection part for detecting a predetermined region using the depth information. The image processing device further includes a normal light image acquisition part for acquiring a normal light image having information in a wavelength band of white light. For example, the specific wavelength band is infrared light, and the generation part generates the depth information at the predetermined position by calculating a difference in the depth direction between the special light image and the normal light image. The detection part detects a position where the depth information is a predetermined threshold or more as a bleeding point.
