PURPOSE: A vertical garden using an expanded metal installed on an existing retaining wall and a construction method thereof are provided to environmentally-friendly change the exterior of an existing retaining wall. CONSTITUTION: A vertical garden using an expanded metal installed on an existing retaining wall comprises supports(10), connecting fixtures, expanded metals, seed meshes, fixing anchors(50), connectors(60), improved soil, and water storage spaces(90). The supports are arranged along the longitudinal direction of an existing retaining wall to be separated from each other. The connecting fixtures are installed on one side of the supports. The expanded metals are fixed to the rears of the supports through the connecting fixtures to connect the supports. The seed meshes are installed on the rear surfaces of the expanded metals. The fixing anchors are installed in the bottom or wall of the existing retaining wall. The connectors are coupled to the connecting fixtures and the fixing anchors. Gaps between the supports and the existing retaining wall are filled with the improved soil. The water storage spaces are installed inside the improved soil.본 발명은 기존옹벽에 설치되는 입면녹화시설에 있어서, 한쪽 면의 일부분이 길이방향으로 절단된 지지대홈이 있는 속이 빈 사각기둥의 형상으로 기존옹벽의 길이방향을 따라 서로 이격되게 배치되는 지지대와 지지대홈에 삽입되어 지지대 일측에 설치되는 연결고정구와 연결고정구에 의해서 지지대의 배면에 고정되어 지지대 사이를 연결하는 익스펜디드메탈과 익스펜디드메탈 배면으로 설치되는 초화류씨앗망과 기존옹벽의 바닥 또는 벽면에 설치되는 고정앵커와 일단이 지지대의 일측에 설치되어 있는 연결고정구에 결합되고 타단이 고정앵커에 결합되는 연결대와 지지대와 익스펜디드메탈로 구성된 흙 지지벽과 기존옹벽 사이에 채워지는 개량토 및 개량토 내부에 기존옹벽에 밀착 설치되는 물 저장소로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기존옹벽에 시공되는 익스펜디드메탈을 이용한 입면녹화시설에 관한 것이고,본 발명은 기존옹벽에 설치되는 입면녹화시설을 시공하는 방법에 있어서, (a) 기존옹벽의 바닥 또는 벽체에 고정앵커를 설치하는 단계와 (b) 지지대와 익스펜디드메탈로 구성된 흙 지지벽을 일정 SPAN씩 조립하는 단계와 (c) (b)단계 후 흙 지지벽을 기존옹벽 전면에 일정폭 이격하고 경사지게 세우면서 내측에 초화류씨앗망을 부착하되, 지지대와 고정앵커를 연결대로 연결하는 단계와 (d) 흙 지지벽과 기존옹벽 사이에 개량토를 채우면서 기존옹벽에 밀착되게 물 저장소를 설치하는 단계로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 기존옹벽에 시공되는 익스펜디드메탈을 이용한 입면녹화시설 시공방법에 관한 것이다.
