The present invention refers to a modular self-adjustable equipment for ultrasonic physiotherapy and a method for measuring the transducer/skin coupling level in said equipment, which includes a control case that houses digital and analogical circuits operated through control and adjustment algorithms. The ultrasound equipment is formed by a control case attached, by a coaxial cable, to a piezoelectric transducer of narrow band without backing. The front panel of the control case has four keys to program the therapy and an indicator of the LCD matrix 16 x 2 type. A key is a switch normally opened to start or stop the therapy. Another key is a switch normally opened to select, in the indicator, the variable to be modified using other two switches which are useful for increasing and reducing the value of the indicator in the screen. The generator equipment has two luminous indicators (LEDs): the first for indicating the transducer/skin detachment and the second for indicating that the e quipment is working a free space is also included for locating the transducer while is not in use or for locating the fittings for carrying out the therapy.La presente invención se refiere a un equipo modular autoajustable de fisioterapia ultrasónica y a un método para la medición del nivel de acoplamiento transductor/piel en dicho equipo, el cual se compone de una caja de control que alberga en su interior circuitos digitales y analógicos que operan a través de una serie de algoritmos para el control y autoajuste.
