PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of trouble by inhibiting movement of a tongue in a mouth with a tongue holding piece formed at the lower end part of a cylindrical member inserted into the mouth to stop the tongue from hindering movement of an endotracheal tube and a suction catheter in the mouth, and by preventing the endotracheal tube from easily moving on the just outside of the vicinity of insertion into the mouth.SOLUTION: An endotracheal tube protector includes a cylindrical member 2, guide grooves 3 formed on both sides of the cylindrical member 2, small linear protrusions 4 arranged in parallel on both the top and bottom surfaces of the cylindrical member 2, stopper protrusions 5 formed around the cylindrical member 2, dovetail engagement grooves 6 formed on both sides of each stopper protrusion 5, and a tongue holding piece 7 formed at the lower end part of the cylindrical member 2.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】口内に挿入される筒状部材の先端下部に形成した舌抑制片によって口内の舌の動きを抑制し、口内の気管内チューブや吸引カテーテルの動きを舌によって妨げるのを防ぎ、また、口の挿入付近の直前の外側で気管内チューブが簡単にずれるのを防いでトラブルの発生を未然に防止する。【解決手段】筒状部材2、この筒状部材2の両側面に形成されたガイド溝3、筒状部材2の上下両面に並設された線状小突起4、筒状部材2の周回りに形成されたストッパー突起片5、ストッパー突起片5の左右両側に形成された係合蟻溝6、及び筒状部材2の先端下部に形成された舌抑制片7からなる。【選択図】 図1
