PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: anti-STEAP-1 antibodies and immunoconjugates thereof； and methods of using the same.SOLUTION: A method of making an anti-STEAP-1 antibody, which binds to STEAP-1 and comprises a light chain variable domain or a heavy chain variable domain, comprises culturing a host cell including a vector under conditions suitable for expression of a polynucleotide encoding an antibody, and isolating the antibody. Further provided is a method of detecting soluble STEAP-1 in blood or serum, the method comprising: bringing an anti-STEAP-1 antibody of the invention into contact with a test sample of blood or serum from a mammal suspected to be developing a prostate cell proliferative disorder； and detecting an increase in soluble STEAP-1 in the test sample over a control sample of blood or serum from a normal mammal.
