The invention provides an insect trap including a housing having located therein a gas bottle or container, one or more modulators having a viscous medium to produce a pulsed flow of gas and a capillary tube interconnecting the gas bottle or container and a respective modulator a conduit assembly interconnecting a modulator at one end and connectable to a gas bottle or container at another end an attachment body for attachment to a gas bottle or container and a method of producing a pulsed flow of gas from a container or source of said gas.Linvention concerne un piège à insectes comprenant un logement à lintérieur duquel se trouve une bouteille de gaz ou un contenant de gaz, un ou plusieurs modulateurs ayant un milieu visqueux pour produire un flux de gaz pulsé et un tube capillaire reliant la bouteille de gaz ou le contenant de gaz et un modulateur respectif un ensemble conduit reliant un modulateur au niveau dune extrémité et pouvant être raccordé à une bouteille de gaz ou à un contenant de gaz au niveau dune autre extrémité un corps de fixation pour fixer la bouteille de gaz ou le contenant de gaz et un procédé permettant de produire un flux de gaz pulsé à partir dun contenant ou dune source dudit gaz.
