PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent capable of maintaining the patency of a blood vessel even in a lesioned part with a large diameter.SOLUTION: The stent includes: linear struts 13 each defining a cylindrical outer periphery having gaps D formed therein and connections 14 each connecting adjoining struts such that the adjoining struts slide with each other.
