The methods, systems, and the computer-readable storage medias according to embodiments can automatically generate a treatment plan for the patient using (reference) records from previous plans. The system may include: a comparison module configured to compare anatomical information of a plurality of reference records and the patient record a comparison quantification module configured to determine a metric corresponding to a degree of matching between each reference record and patient record a reference record selection module configured to select a reference record from the plurality of reference records based on the metric and a treatment plan generation module configured to generate a treatment plan for the patient based on the selected reference record.
