PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soluble film soluble in water without forming undissolved lumps, easily meltable in the mouth and having excellent film properties such as drying resistance and antiblocking property.SOLUTION: A soluble film having remarkably improved meltability in the mouth and solubility in water without lowering moisture resistance and drying resistance can be produced by adding one or more substances selected from &gamma-polyglutamic acid and its salt to a film produced from a water-soluble polymer. An edible film having further improved film properties is produced by adding a gelling agent and/or a plasticizer to the soluble film. The soluble film is used as a covering/packaging material or a carrier of foods, medicines, cosmetics, etc., or a film-like edible product compounded with various functional components to exhibit excellent film properties.COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT【課題】ダマを生じることのない水溶解性と優れた口溶け性を有し、かつ耐乾燥性及び耐ブロッキング性等のフィルム特性に優れた可溶性フィルムを提供すること。【解決手段】水溶性高分子から形成されるフィルムに、γ-ポリグルタミン酸及び/又はその塩からなる群より選ばれた少なくとも一種を含有させることにより、口溶け、水溶解性を大幅に改良し、しかも、耐湿性、耐乾燥性が低下しにくい可溶性フィルムを提供することができる。本発明の可溶性フィルムにおいて、ゲル化剤及び/又は可塑剤を含有させることにより、更に優れたフィルム特性の可食性フィルムを提供するこができる。本発明の可溶性フィルムは、食品や医薬或いは化粧品等の被覆・包装材又は担体として、或いは、種々の機能成分を配合した喫食用フィルム調製品として用い、優れたフィルム特性を発揮することができる。【選択図】なし
