PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unique combination of male and female gas connectors for one way transfer of gases.SOLUTION: The combination comprises a female connector 1000 coupled to a nitrogen dioxide source, and a male connector 1005 coupled to a cartridge. The cartridge includes an inlet, an outlet, and a surface-active material coated with a reducing agent.
