PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using a biocompatible ice slurry in the production of a drug used for reversibly inhibiting one or more peripheral nerves of a subject in need thereof. Reversible inhibition comprises injecting the biocompatible ice slurry into or around one or more peripheral nerves for a period sufficient to inhibit the peripheral nerves of the subject.
