The present invention relates to stable solid pharmaceutical compositionscomprising valsartan as the active pharmaceuticalingredient. Optionally the compositions comprise one or more further activepharmaceutical ingredients. The inventionfurther relates to methods for preparing said compositions and to the use ofsaid compositions in the treatment or prevention ofangiotensin receptor mediated disorders, in particular hypertension andrelated disorders.
