The invention relates to an endoscope with anti-contamination device, comprising a rigid or flexible shaft, at the distal end of which there are arranged an optical unit and a lighting device, and comprising a grip connected to the shaft, an inner sleeve which is closed at its distal end and is optically transparent at least at the end face and is rolled in a condom-like manner along the shaft, an air tube and a water tube which end open at the distal end of the inner sleeve and are connected thereto and are positioned between the shaft and inner sleeve, and a grip attachment fitted onto the grip, the grip attachment having an air valve and a water valve, to which the air tube and water tube are connected, an outer sleeve being arranged surrounding the inner sleeve and being connected to the inner sleeve at a proximal end thereof in an airtight, watertight and bacteria-proof manner.
