PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for producing a turf for vegetation wound into a roll shape, resisting to washing with water even if the peeled thickness is thin, hardly causing damage of the turf under preservation, facilitating the plantation operation on a ground or the like, hardly bringing various bacteria in, and enabling the turf to grow well.SOLUTION: This method for producing the turf for the vegetation wound into the roll shape comprises peeling the turf for the vegetation from a root part into a long sheet shape or peeling the turf from a sheet part, removing attached soil therefrom, and winding the resultant turf into the roll shape. The turf is obtained by spreading a net on a field in which the grass grows properly or on the roots of grass present in the field, growing the grass in the presence of the net so that the roots will entangle with the net, and cutting the roots at the lower surface side of the net. The apparatus for producing the turf for the vegetation wound into the roll shape is obtained by attaching a cutting blade 7 for vertically cutting the turf in a cutting width direction, and a horizontal peeling blade 8 arranged at a depth for peeling the turf to the front part of a pulled or self-traveling carriage, installing a water-washing device 4 in the rear part of the blades, and further installing a winding device 5 at the rear part of the water-washing device 4.COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO【課題】 剥ぎ取り厚が薄くても水洗に耐え、しかも保管時に芝生の傷みが少なく、グランド等に植え込み施工がし易く、雑菌の持ち込みがなく、芝生の成長が良好な植生用ロール巻芝の製造方法と装置を提供する。【解決手段】 植生用芝を根の部分から長尺シート状に剥ぎ取り又はシート部分から剥離し、これを付着土を除去し、ロール巻にすることを特徴とする植生用ロール巻芝の製造方法であり、芝は適度に成育している圃場又は圃場に存在する芝根上へネットを展開し、該ネットの存在下に芝根が該ネットに絡むまで育成してから、該ネットの下面側で根切りをする植生用ロール巻芝の製造方法である。植生用ロール巻芝の製造装置は、牽引又は自走可能な台車前方へ芝生を切断幅方向に縦切りする切断刃7と、芝生の剥ぎ取り深さに配置された略水平方向の剥ぎ取り刃8とを組付け、その後方へ水洗装置4とその後方へ巻き取り装置5とを設けたのである。
