A storage system for use with a tissue cutting device is disclosed. In one configuration, the storage system is configured to deliver fluid to the tissue sample in the tissue collector as the tissue sample is being acquired. A cooling system that can be used with a storage system is also disclosed. The cooling system is configured to receive the tissue collector and maintain a desired temperature of the tissue collector and any sample disposed therein.
