The present invention relates to medicaments based on oligomeric forms of 3-hydroxybutyrate, particularly 3-hydroxybutyrate methyl ester dimer (1) and trimer (2), especially for use in treating, preventing and/or inhibiting development of a disorder or condition related to oxidative stress.
