PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid expansion type multistage cushion for a dental treatment chair, which enables a patient short in height to reliably place his/her head in a headrest and to split gargle water and the like into a spittoon without a trouble.SOLUTION: A fluid expansion type multistage cushion 1 for a dental treatment chair, which is placed on a chair seat face of a chair body, comprises: a fluid cushion body 2 including a surface material 11, a rear face material 12, and an expandable side face material 13 connecting peripheral inner sides of the surface material and rear face material by using an inside partition member so as to partition the inside in two or more layers and forming fluid bags, being of a folding type so as to individually change thicknesses of the fluid bags in the respective layers, and having a bellows form having two or more stages and fluid supply means 21 injecting and exhausting fluid individually with respect to the respective fluid bags.
