Improvements in an exteriorly mounted cat litter station, called “Kitty Cat Can”, mounts on the exterior of a building to create a bump-out toilet for cats, which live indoors. It is installed against an opening through a wall so cats can go back and forth without leaving the house. A hinged roof slops with long eave extensions and covers the screened slots at the top of the outer container for water tightness. This seamless unit mounts, held by its own weight, onto an integrated horizontal ledger hook which has been installed on the exterior of a dwelling. Optional openings in the back provide flexibility upon installation. A secondary high-walled reusable container fits snuggly inside and is held in place by the removable passage sleeve. Liner and sleeve stay in place for routine litter raking, although if more aggressive cleaning is desired, the sleeve and liner lift out completely.
