The present invention provides a fetal movement monitoring system and a fetal movement information collecting device which are simply usable at home to collect and analyze correctly detail information about fetal movements over a long time. The fetal movement monitoring system includes a fetal movement information collecting device 21 and an analyzing device 40, wherein the fetal movement information collecting device 21 includes a fetal movement sensor 22 for detecting the movement of a fetus in the uterus of the mothers body, a timer 25 for outputting time information, a memory 26, and a storage control means 24 which receives the output signal from the fetal movement sensor 22 and stores, in the memory 26, waveform information of the output signal obtained for a period from the time when the output signal reaches a level to exceed a predetermined threshold value until a predetermined time elapses along with time information at the time and the analyzing device 40 which bases on the waveform information and the time information stored in the memory 26 to reproduce signal waveform, to determine fetal movement type, and to produce fetal movement occurrence pattern, and bases on the occurrence pattern to determine whether a fetus is smoothly growing or not, and displays the determination result on a display 42.
