Thepresent invention is an application of elliptical, cylindrical bottles fordispensing prescriptionmedications. The elliptical, cylindrical shape offers ergonomic grip compareto the circular,cylindrical shape. As a result, these bottles reduce strain on the finger,hand and forearmmuscles, and are easier to grip. In addition, these bottles offer a relativelyplanar surfaces forprescription and auxiliary labels, which eliminate the rotating-back-and-forthaction to read thelabels as with the current circular, cylindrical prescription medicationvials.
