The invention pertains to a composition comprising (i) uridine in nucleobase, nucleoside and/or nucleotide form (ii) docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and/or eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and (iii) a tocopherol and/or an equivalent thereof, wherein said composition has: a) a weight of 200 - 3000 mg per unit dose b) an energy content of less than 50 kcal per unit dose and/or c) a volume between 0.1 and 10 ml per unit dose. The invention also pertains to the use of such composition in reducing abeta plaque burden and neurodegeneration, in the treatment of diseases related with imparted nerve functioning, in particular dementia, Alzheimers disease and memory disorders.
