PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction mechanism surely performing traction by preventing a puncture of an actuator, and to provide a curving drive mechanism and an endoscope.
SOLUTION: This traction mechanism includes: a cylindrical guide tube 105 the actuator 107 disposed in the interior of the guide tube 105 to freely move forward and backward, having a tube material 112 allowing a pulled object to be connected to its one end and expanding/contracting in the axial direction of the guide tube 105 a stopper section 116 regulating an axial relative movement between the other end of the actuator 107 and the guide tube 105 a power source connected to the other end of the actuator 107 and expanding/contracting the actuator 107 and a low sliding resistance section LF provided between a peripheral face of the actuator 107 within a range of a predetermined length L3 from the one end and an internal circumferential face of the guide tube 105.
